Finding the right exercise bike to get a good sweat going at home can be difficult, especially if you don't want to spend a fortune.
However, there are a select few pieces of cardio equipment that you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for, yet still provide you with enough value, durability, and functionality to burn some calories and potentially lose a bit of weight.
Today, we want to review one specific exercise bike, the JLL IC200 Pro. We'll be taking a look at all of its main features today to see if it's an ideal model for you or not.
Introducing the JLL IC200 Pro
The JLL IC200 is a fairly affordable exercise bike ideal for those who want a good mix of value and functionality costing just under £200 at the time of this review.
Although it might not be the highest-end exercise bike in the world, it comes with various features that make it worth considering, such as an advanced flywheel with magnetic resistance, a direct belt drive, and an overall comfortable design.
For the relatively low price that it comes in at, it is quite the bargain, although this is not to say that it doesn't have its fair share of problems.
What we want to do today is to provide you with all of the information you need to make an informed decision, including all of its pros and cons so you can decide if it is a good fit for you.
Getting Started with the JLL IC200 Pro
As far as getting started is concerned, the JLL IC200 Pro arrives in a single box, which is fairly compact.
All of the pieces are neatly arranged inside, and when it came to us, nothing was damaged, which is a great sign. Furthermore, all of the tools required for assembly are included in the package.
Although the unit is quite easy to assemble, keep in mind that it helps to have a second pair of hands. Some of the pieces are fairly large and you could definitely benefit from having somebody assist you, but that said, it's not that difficult, and a single person should be able to manage if needed.
Our Review of the JLL IC200 Pro
We spent a lot of time personally looking over this exercise bike, and now we want to provide you with all of the information that we've gathered about it. We're going to talk about its overall durability, functionality, space efficiency, and more.
Size, Weight, and Portability
Although this bike might not have a folding design like some others do, it's still designed for space efficiency.
At its longest, it's just over 122 centimeters which makes it ideal for relatively small spaces. People who live in apartments or small houses should certainly be able to appreciate this.
In terms of its weight, it comes in at 31 kilograms. 31 kilograms is not overly heavy for a spin bike, and it makes the IC200 relatively easy to transport, which is also true thanks to the included transportation wheels.
You should be able to easily wheel it back and forth throughout your home when you have finished your workout. That said, the wheels aren't the highest quality in the world and may get stuck, especially on thick carpets.
However, it is quite portable overall. Now, what does need to be said is that because this is a relatively space-efficient exercise bike, it's also not ideal for the largest of people. Anyone over six feet tall may want to consider something a bit larger.
Overall Durability
The JLL IC200 is a fairly durable model, especially considering that it comes to us at an affordable price. It's mainly made with alloy steel, although it's also made with other components, such as relatively high-quality plastic.
With that said, it's not a bike that would last very long in a commercial setting but works perfectly fine for home use.
Something that you should however keep in mind is that the maximum user weight is 100 kilograms, which for a larger person, may pose problems. So you may want to be aware of this if you are just getting started.
Nonetheless, aside from the relatively low weight capacity, this exercise bike is quite well-built.
It features reinforcements in all the right places, the handles are more than sturdy enough to last for years, and the seat is also designed to be both durable and comfortable for a racing-style saddle.
Let's move on and take a closer look at how comfortable this unit is to use.
Comfort Factors
Okay, like we said right off the bat, this model is not designed for very tall people. Anyone over six feet tall might find it difficult to use this exercise bike comfortably.
However, it does feature vertically adjustable handlebars and a vertically/ horizontally adjustable seat, which means that most average-sized people should be able to use it comfortably in a way that works best.
The seat is also very wide and well-padded so your backside won't hurt after just a few minutes of cycling, and the handle features decent padding as well.
However, if you haven't used a road bike before you might find it takes a bit of time to get used to it and can feel a bit uncomfortable at first.

Resistance, Performance, and Overall Functionality
What many people will appreciate about this machine is that it comes complete with an advanced flywheel that provides you with magnetic resistance. It has a momentum mechanism that can replicate an 18-kilogram flywheel, which means that it can provide you with a good deal of resistance.
There are up to eight different resistance levels to choose from, and choosing them is as simple as turning an admittedly clunky knob but it gets the job done.
The operation overall is quite smooth, and if you're not too heavy, the bike shouldn't wobble very much either.
Furthermore, it also comes with a monitor that features five different functions, such as displaying distance, speed, pulse, calories burned, and time spent exercising.
It may not feature any connectivity options or built-in workout programs, but it still gets the job done, especially for the price it comes in at.

Rounding Up
Overall, the JLL IC200 is a perfectly fine exercise bike to consider. It comes to us at a relatively low price, making it ideal for those working on a tight budget, yet still has all the features that make it worth the investment.
No, it might not be characterised by super advanced electronics or the ability to hold up a ton of weight, but it should work just fine for basic exercise needs.
It's an excellent investment for anybody who wants a piece of cardiovascular exercise equipment that is space efficient, affordable, functional, and easy to use.
Finally, JLL are a UK based company who have a good reputation for customer service which gives added peace of mind.
